Jeff Hassannia

Co-Founder

Jeff Hassannia has been investing in real estate and entrepreneurial ventures for over 30 years; he bought his first investment property at the age of 18 and has conducted transactions in excess of $20M in residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties in Oregon, California, Arizona, Nevada, and Maryland. He has authored six analytical tools designed to assess the attractiveness of various investment scenarios. Jeff was featured in the 2008 Forbes Investment Guide for his acumen in identifying disproportionately high return, “one off” types of properties. His primary focus for HD Enterprises is on the identification, analyses, and acquisition of properties for the portfolio.

Jeff was also both an investor and senior executive at a number of technology-related, cash-flow businesses. One example includes Diversified Energy Corporation, where Jeff led business development for the renewable energy start-up and was featured nationally on Fox News’ “Your World” with Neil Cavuto in February 2007. He also started and managed Los Angeles county’s highest grossing (per square foot) technology-enabled laundromat in 2001 called Super Laundry. Jeff has worked in business development and strategy in the aerospace industry at companies such as TRW/Northrop Grumman, Honeywell, Cobham, Quantic Electronics, and his own consultancy company – Aerospace BD, LLC. He also serves on the Board of Directors for S&K Technologies, Inc.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Astronautical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy, a Master of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of California Los Angeles.

Nicole Hassannia

Co-Founder

Nicole Hassannia has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, with a proven background in both traditional and digital advertising, asset management, property development, marketing strategy and execution. Her primary focus for HD Enterprises is on sales transactions, property management, and tenant experience.

She has managed over 400k sq ft of commercial retail/office property for Mackenzie, Cushman, and Wakefield and served as a Director of Marketing for American Community Management, helping to grow the company’s portfolio by 20% in one year. For three years Nicole led the sales and marketing for a proposed continuing care retirement community in Annapolis, MD called The Village at Crystal Spring. The Village was to be the biggest development project in Annapolis history, calling for over 141k sq ft of retail, 24k sq ft of office, a 68k sq ft hotel, 674k sq ft of senior housing and healthcare, and 118 townhomes. More recently, Nicole was the Director of Customer Relations for BECO Management, Inc., which owns, manages, and leases over seven million square feet of commercial property throughout the Washington-Baltimore metropolitan area, Charlotte, North Carolina and Libertyville, Illinois.

Nicole also founded SSR, LLC, a company that focuses on the intersection of sustainability, real estate investing, and philanthropy. Leveraging her experience with HD Enterprises, coupled with her philanthropic passions and a personal charity called The Ripple Fund, SSR combines these three themes into one investment model. Nicole is also a licensed realtor and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Merrick School of Business at the University of Baltimore.

She serves on the Leadership Council of the National SBA’s Economic Development Committee and is Chairman of the Board for We Care and Friends, a non-profit that supports the building blocks to create strong families and communities in areas affected by drugs, crime, and poverty in Maryland.
